As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities include:
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and PPM's.
- Using both your electrical and mechanical skill set.
- Diagnosing faults to find the root cause of breakdowns.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects on site.
- Working efficiently with the production team to minimise downtime.
The qualifications & skills required to become a Maintenance Engineer:
- A minimum of a level 3 maintenance engineer (electrical bias) C&G NVQ, BTEC
- Understanding of SCADA control systems.
- PLC fault finding experience would be an advantage
- Multi-skilled with an electrical bias.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
