After undergoing a restructure of the engineering teams this food manufacturers in Coventry have new roles created for thier shift engineering teams, working a 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern you will play an integral part in maintaining engineering standards with both proactive and reactive maintenance duties and keeping up time to a maximum.
Due to the increase in numbers we are looking for both mechanical & electrical Mainteancne engineers, you will need to be apprentice trained or qualified to a minimum of a level 3 with 2-3 years hands on experiance in a maintenance position.

The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and PPM's.
- Using both your electrical and mechanical skill set.
- Diagnosing faults to find the root cause of breakdowns.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects on site.
- Working efficiently with the production team to minimise downtime.
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
The qualifications & skills required to become a Maintenance Engineer:
- A minimum of a level 3 maintenance qualification either electrical or Mechanical Bias C&G NVQ, BTEC
- Understanding of SCADA control systems, and PLC fault finding would be an advantage
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous
- Positive, proactive mindset and a team player
The benefits of this Maintenance Engineers role:
- Basic Salary of £54,000 - Package c £60,000
- Quarterly bonus incentive of approx £1200 - £3000 per quarter
