Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working nights and taking ownership of your shift? Working Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts!
Would you like to join a growing food manufacturing business where maintenance is focused on prevention rather than firefighting, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on equipment reliability and site performance?
We are working with a well-established artisan bakery business in Nottingham that has experienced significant growth over recent years. Following the successful launch of a new long-term retail contract, continued investment in production facilities and the introduction of new manufacturing equipment, the business is expanding its engineering team to support a move towards 24-hour production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a close-knit engineering team on a permanent night shift. Working largely independently during the night operation, you will take ownership of planned maintenance activities, equipment reliability and continuous improvement projects across the site.
Unlike many night shift maintenance roles that are heavily reactive, this position offers a genuine opportunity to focus on preventative maintenance, asset care and engineering improvements. The successful engineer will have the autonomy to organise and prioritise work while being supported by an experienced day engineering team.
This role would suit an electrically biased engineer or a mechanically biased engineer with strong electrical competency, who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving and working within a growing business where engineering is genuinely valued.
