We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various welding techniques to contribute to high-quality projects within a dynamic environment.
Working Hours of a Welder / Fabricator:
Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime)

Responsibilities of a Welder / Fabricator:
To carry out a policy of quality engineering when working in the factory / on site.
· To maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping.
City & Guilds Qualifications in Welding and Fabrication/Apprenticeship in a recognised Engineering environment would be an advantage.
You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday with a 10 minute break 10.00 am - 10.10 am and ½ hour lunch-break 1.00 pm - 1.30 pm.
You must be able to work within a team, either in the main production area or if applicable on a client’s site and be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.
Skills of a Welder / Fabricator:
- Welding and fabrication in stainless steel material 1.0mm – 12mm thickness including pipework/purge. Both Tig and Synergic Mig welding processes are utilised. It is expected you will have experience in reading engineering drawings, understand tolerances/bend allowances /be experienced in fabrication and sheet-metal machinery.
